The Altoona Blair County Development (ABCD) Corporation Board of Directors announced the appointment of senior ABCD team member Tom Seasoltz to Chief Financial Officer. Seasoltz had been serving as Director of Corporate Finance since 2016. He joined ABCD Corporation in 2010 after graduating from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University with a degree in Finance. Overall, he has provided leadership and oversight for the organization’s budgeting, operational finances and guiding the development and administration of loans, grants and tax credit related programs.
“Tom has been a critical part of our leadership and management team for several years now. He is instrumental in both our day to day operations and long-term strategic sustainability planning. Personally, I am grateful he has accepted this new position and look forward to working with him closely in the years to come,” said Stephen McKnight, ABCD Corporation’s President and CEO.
Seasoltz works extensively with Federal, State and Local financing agencies, including the USDA, Small Business Administration, Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority and the PA Dept. of Community and Economic Development. He received certification under the Development Finance Certified Professional program from the CDFA and is a certified member of the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association.
Tom lives in Altoona with his wife, two children and enjoys watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penn State football and fishing the Juniata River for smallmouth bass with his dad.
