“Connecting people from Altoona to Pittsburgh and the World” is the tagline for Sun Air Express, the new carrier at the Altoona Blair County Airport.
“If you haven’t flown from this airport within the past three months, you’re probably no aware of the array of services that we provide,” explained Tracy Plessinger, Manager of the Airport. “We’ve upgraded practically every aspect of this operation to connect people to Pittsburgh and the world.”
Both Sun Air Express and the Airport have been busy networking the new service and benefits throughout the business community. The keys are the convenience, reliability and affordability that the service offers to Pittsburgh with daily flights.
With everyday rates at $29 each way from Altoona to Pittsburgh, Sun Air Express is addressing the savings needed by travelers and businesses to utilize the services at the airport. In addition as an incentive to businesses the airline has put together an Express Pack that offers 10 tickets for $250, 20 for $450 and 50 for $1,000.
“The Express Packs can reduce a business’ cost to as low as $20,” Plessinger commented. “The tickets are good for six months and are transferable within a company or organization.”
