Please join us in congratulating Altoona Blair County Development (ABCD) Corp.’s own Rachel Prosser who was recently appointed as the new President of the Blair County Chamber Foundation.
Rachel is also the Foundation’s youngest President in its history. “I am excited to be a part of this board and have learned from past presidents during my tenure and I look forward to increasing the visibility of the Foundation throughout the Chamber’s membership and increase fundraising with new events,” said Prosser. “It is an honor to be the youngest President and I encourage more young professionals to become involved in our community’s boards and make a difference.”
Since joining ABCD Corp. in 2014 Rachel has consistently shown her leadership abilities through taking on more responsibilities within the organization and to leading ABCD’s Agriculture Committee. Under her direction the Ag Committee launched a now award winning Agricultural Career Days for all Blair County 7th Graders that throughout the years has provided opportunities to thousands of students.
She is a graduate of St. Francis University as well as the Chamber’s Leadership Blair County Program.
