We are excited to have recently welcomed Marcus Edwards as the newest member of ABCD’s economic development team. Marcus will be leading our First Frontier 504 Program and be your go-to contact for all things 504 and we hope to get Marcus out to visit all of our statewide lending and economic development partners as soon as possible. Take a moment to learn a little more about Marcus below and join us in welcoming and congratulating him on his new position.
About Marcus:
Marcus Edwards graduated from Saint Francis University in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics with an Actuarial Concentration. After graduation he honed his business lending skills with Reliance Bank and we are excited to have him as the First Frontier 504 Program Manager.
Marcus went to Altoona Area High School and participated on many sports teams while in high school. He continued his athletic career in college as he was a member of the Saint Francis University Track and Field team. In high school, Marcus was a member of the SOAR Program, which is a program to help young students who come from lower income families to better prepare for going to college after high school. In college, Marcus was a member of the KME Math Honor’s Society and volunteered with Special Olympics and Sports for Kids.
In his free time Marcus likes to fish, cycle, play sports, and do many other outdoor activities. Marcus has a profound drive to learn about the banking industry and possesses a determination to have a positive impact on the community. Marcus currently resides in Altoona where he has lived since 1999.
