Applications are now being accepted and process for the City of Altoona’s Economic Recovery Grant Program. This program was created to meet the hiring needs of small for-profit businesses located within the City of Altoona.
“As the effects from this pandemic and the mandatory shut-downs continue to be endured by our small businesses we wanted to create a grant program to directly assist these companies in putting people back to work,” said City of Altoona Mayor Matt Pacifico. “This program will assist those workers that have been adversely affected since March 1 by allocating funds to their employers for hiring or re-hiring individuals.”
The funding is made possible through an allocation of the City of Altoona’s CARES Act/COVID-19 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Relief Act funds. Applications are being processed by the Altoona Blair County Development (ABCD) Corp. in partnership with the City of Altoona. All allocations of grant funds will come directly from the City of Altoona. Looking for ultrasonic flowmeter and mineral processors and more? You can find them on this website.
